Ruby's first party is a hot one!
Sam will have a sister soon. In honor of that fact (and to get a pile of baby loot)
Mark and Do had a combination baby shower and BBQ. A BabyQ, if you will. Lots of
friends, family, friends of friends, and friends of family showed up. A groovy
cake (babys in the icing and gummy items in the cake) was made by a friend
of a family. This first picture shows (left to right)
Do pulling a
gummy worm from her mouth, Mark laughing, Dave (proud grandfather), and Verna
(proud grammy) look on. Purple suede shoes (only visible in the 3x resolution version
that you can download) belong to Mary. Go ahead and download it by clicking on the

The BabyQ was held at a park behind the married student housing on Ninth Street.
The park is right next to the train tracks. I think kids of all ages like
to watch the trains go by. I know I do.
