Get your blue hot Comet Hyakutake files here!
(Or go someplace else - like
NASA)
Just click on a link to download the file.
- This star chart (27k file called hyaku4c.jpg)
shows the position of the comet
in the northern sky back in March and April.
- This color photo of the comet (12k file called 03-22-a.jpg)
was taken by
an armateur astronomer and posted on the Astronomy Forum of Compuserve.
The downloadable image is four times higher resolution (16 times more pixels)
than the image that you're looking at below but should only take twice as long to
download. (It's the magic of JPEG vs. GIF compression algorithms)
I can attest to the fact that the real comet looks very much
like this!
- I've had more than one complaint that it's too hard to find a mail link
back to me... Click here
to compose a note to Bob (me). Questions? Comments? Typing practice? Go ahead,
make my day.
And now for something completely different...
