The Royal Gorge Wilderness Lodge is located about 4 km from the nearest parking. We arrived on a Sunday around lunch time and skied until 4pm. .
At 4pm, they put us on a sleigh for the ride down to the lodge It snowed very lightly on the way down to the lodge. It was cold, but fun too.

We skied all the way around (well, almost all the way around) Devil's Peak over the 4 days we were there.

The trip was lovely.
The rooms are very small - ours was about twice the size of the (``full" size) bed.
We're going back next year to stay for a week (at least).
On the way out on Wednesday, I skied the Mirkwood trail and took photos from the overlook. Unfortunately, the pictures are still in the camera... Stay tuned!
