When we left for work in the morning, she was fine. When we came home, she was limping around with a floppy foot. Mary took Maggie to the kitty emergency room. The x-rays confirmed our worst fears: Maggie had broken all four metatarsal of her right hind paw. Ignore her little toes all scrunched up at the left of this x-ray and focus on the middle where the bones don't line up anymore. |

Last night's x-rays show some progress - you can see some light fuzz that tells us the ends of the bones are ``re-calsifying". |
